Nine Inch Nails really do seem to have called it quits, with Reznor and co. selling gear on eBay.
Now that the band is defunct, they’re going through selling all their unwanted gear of which you can obtain by clicking here.
Of course, since they are instruments once owned by NIN and used in the studio and on the road, the chances of buying it at a fair price are slim to none as hundreds of people inexplicably bid a week out of the auction’s close.
Still, some of the gear on offer includes a guitar with the ‘Fragile’ album art ($US2,274 at time of printing), a Goldtone Gibson “Banjitar” ($US1,690 at time of printing) and a Fender Precision Bass ($US880) at the time of printing.
On top of this, the NIN online store will be reissuing t-shirts and posters from recent tours.
It seems a fitting way for NIN to end, seemingly following the theme of their 1994 masterpiece ‘The Downward Spiral’ which culminates in a self destructive blast followed by the calm outro of ‘Hurt’.
Nine Inch Nails are dead. Grab what you can, while you can.
