Susan Boyle Album Exceeds Early Prediction

by Paul Cashmere - November 29 2009

The Susan Boyle `I Dreamed A Dream` album will most likely sell even more in the USA than was originally predicted.

The Boyle album is now on track to sell at least 625,000 units and may go as high as 670,000 units according to Hit Daily Double.

So far in 2009, the fastest selling album of the year is Eminem ‘The Relapse’. It sold 608,000 units in its first week on sale.

Susan Boyle will double the sales of last week’s number one debut from John Mayer and quadruple the first week sales of the Bon Jovi album two weeks ago.

In the USA, Boyle will beat new releases from Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Adam Lambert.

By the end of the first week, the album will have sold near 1.2 million units in the USA and UK. It will also debut at number one in Canada and number one in Australia this week.

The Australian sales for week one were 26.474.
