Sade will release her first album in a decade in February.
Helen Folasade Adu, OBE was born in Nigeria to an African father and English mother.
‘Soldier of Love’ will only be the sixth album from the soul singer since her multiplatinum 1984 debut ‘Diamond Life’. It delivered the hits ‘Your Love Is King’, ‘Smooth Operator’ and ‘Hang On To Your Love’.
‘Soldier of Love’ is the follow-up to ‘Lovers Rock’ from 2000. It will be her sixth studio album.
