Massive Attack To Release First Album In Seven Years

Massive Attack are gearing up to release their fifth album, ‘Heligoland’ after a seven year absence from music.

According to the band’s official blog, the record is due for release on February 8, 2010.

It will feature a slew of guest vocalists from Massive Attack regular Horace Andy to Blur’s Damon Albarn, Martina Topley-Bird (most famous for singing on a number of Tricky hits, as well as releasing two excellent solo albums), Guy Garvey of Elbow, Hope Sandoval, Tunde Adebimpe, Robert and Grant.

Their last album was the critically acclaimed ‘100th Window’, which was released in 2003.
