Jimmy Barnes will bring the band from his latest album `The Rhythm and the Blues` out to Australia for a tour in March and April 2010.
‘The Rhythm and the Blues` was a number one album for the legendary Barnes in Australia this year.
The album , recorded by Don Gehman, featured Julie Delgardo (vocals), James Gadson (drums) Darrell Leonard (trumpet), Reggie McBride (bass), Tom Peterson (sax), Kennard Ramsey (vocals), Johnny Lee Schell (guitar), and Mike Thompson (keyboards).
‘The Rhythm and the Blues’ was a prequel to Barnes’ two biggest sellers ‘Soul Deep’ and ‘Soul Deeper’.
Meanwhile, Cold Chisel regrouped earlier this week for two days of rehearsals for the upcoming for their one-off show at the V8 Supercars at Sydney Olympic Park on December 5th. The show will also feature The Living End and Grinspoon.
“For me it's a great opportunity to rip into a catalogue of great songs with a bunch of guys that know how to rock, everytime they get on stage,” guitarist Ian Moss said in a statement.
