The Rolling Stones Get Lickered Up

by Paul Cashmere - November 18 2009

The Rolling Stones could have called it Jagger Juice, but no, instead their new wine is simply called `Forty Licks`.

The new Stones drop is a 2007 Merlot. It made its debut last week at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert at Madison Square Garden.

According to wine-maker Mark Beaman, “"For the Forty Licks Merlot, I wanted to work with a wine that captured the essence of what the album was about. Forty Licks, it's forty tracks covering the Rolling Stones from the 1960's to just a few years ago is really a statement of timeless classic rock".

The Forty Licks merlot retails for $50.97 for a 3-bottle pack from http://www.wines-that-rock.com/Purchasing-Wines/Rolling-Stones

The company also has a Woodstock Chardonnay and a Pink Floyd Cab Sav.
