ZZ Top`s Billy Gibbons ignored his chauffeur-driven limo transportation and took the bus and train to his gig last week at Wembley in London.
Gibbons first choice of transportation was actually the train but there was a problem in The Tube, so the journey started on the bus.
The ZZ Top guitarist hoped on a bus at Baker Street and then joined the Metropolitan Line and did end up catching a train to Wembley … with the fans.
Billy told the BBC, "There was a guy on the route that was checking me out and it was getting a little edgy, and then I realised that he was looking at a ZZ Top concert ticket for the Wembley show."
Incidentally, the other two guys from ZZ Top took the limo option. Billy arranged at the gig 45 minutes before they did.
ZZ Top will have a new album soon, produced under the guidance of Rick Rubin.
