Jay-Z and Alicia Keys Perform At Yankee Stadium

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys upstaged the main act, The New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night.

Keys and Jay-Z performed ‘Empire State Of Mind’ from Jay-Z’s new album ‘The Blueprint 3’.

Earlier in the day, Jay-Z said in a statement, “As a die-hard Yankees fan, I'm honored to perform a song that celebrates the greatness of New York in one of our city's most important landmarks, Yankee Stadium."

Jay-Z modified the lyrics for the PG audience watching the live performance after initial concern about the content of the song.

New York Yankees beat The Philadelphia Phillies on the night 3 to 1.
