Dannii Minogue was granted the honors of turning on the Harrods Christmas lights this year.
The Harrods flick of the switch is the London’s major event setting of the Christmas season.
This year, Harrods has been transformed into Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz to mark the 70th anniversary of the movie. In total, 11,500 light bulbs are involved in the display.
Harrods will sell red ruby slippers this year to match the theme, with 10% of sales going to the Great Ormond Street Children’s Charity.
“"It's always a treat to be able to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity - this year will be magical with the transformation of Harrods into the Emerald City," Dannii said in a statement.
Dannii Minogue is a judge on Britain’s The X Factor.
