Jimmy Barnes new single from the platinum number one album `The Rhythm and the Blues` is the Otis Clay soul classic `That`s How it Is`, not that you would know it you are a Triple M listener.
67-year old Clay started out on the 60s and scored his first goal when Bob Seger covered his 1972 soul hit ‘Trying to Live My Life Without You’ later in the 70s.
Clay also recorded ‘That’s How It Is’ for his 1972 album ‘Trying To Live My Life Without You’.
Barnesy chose the song for ‘The Rhythm and the Blues’, his prequel to the ‘Soul Deep’ and ‘Soul Deeper’ albums of the 90s.
Jimmy tells Undercover that “That’s The Way It Is’ is my favourite song on the record”.
Check out the video here and thing ring Triple M and ask them why you aren’t hearing it on the radio.
