New York?ÇÖs finest, LCD Soundsystem are returning to the scene with a 12?Ç¥ single version of Alan Vega (of Suicide)?ÇÖs 1980 solo track ?ÇÿBye Bye Bayou?ÇÖ.
The release is set to coincide with Record Store Day?ÇÖs ?ÇÿVinyl Saturday?ÇÖ, which was first launched in June this year in the USA which saw artists such as Pete Yorn, Green Day and Wilco releasing vinyl just for the occasion.
This single will be LCD Soundsystem?ÇÖs first release of new material since 2007?ÇÖs ?ÇÿSound of Silver?ÇÖ. The band are planning on releasing their next album in March, 2010.
While you won?ÇÖt get to see them play live anytime soon, the band will be heading to Australia in December and January for some DJ gigs.
