Former New Order/Joy Division member Bernard Sumner has a new band called Bad Lieutenant and a new video for you to watch as well.
‘Sink Or Swim’ is the first taste for the forthcoming Bad Lieutenant album ‘Never Cry Another Tear’.
Sumner started Bad Lieutenant after New Order went belly up. Stephen Morris from New Order appears on a few tracks on the album but essentially Bad Lieutenant is a trio featuring Sumner, Jake Evans and Phil Cunningham.
Morris joins the band for live gigs along with bass player Tom Chapman.
The first rehearsals for Bad Lieutenant took place at the home of Alex James from Blur. James plays bass on a few songs on the album.
