The Queenscliff Music Festival launched its 2009 lineup today at the Toff in Town in Melbourne.
The festival features a broad sweep of international and national acts including Tim Finn (described as an “Australian made legend” in the bio!), Little Birdy and The Original Wailers looking after the more commercial side of the festival.
There are plenty of corker’s on there with smaller names too, including Ed Keupper & The Kowalski Collective, Even, Bertie Blackman, Whitley and Dan Sultan.
Nano Stern and Chris Jagger’s Atcha cover the more diverse musical areas and for some strange reason there is a Rolling Stones tribute band.
The festival takes place in the 19th century seaside town of Queenscliff, Victoria. The festival itself is on a world heritage listed site and the bands play everywhere from circus marquees to Victorian ballrooms and small churches.
The festival will take place on November 27, 28 and 29, 2009 and several ticket packages will be available from the festival website, which can be found by clicking here.
See you at the festival!
