36-years after his one and only album under the name Blue Ridge Rangers, Creedence Clearwater Revival legend John Fogerty has downed tools on the follow-up.

?ÇÿJohn Fogerty: The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again?ÇÖ is now complete and includes a bit of a hand from Eagles` Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit and Bruce Springsteen.

That first Blue Ridge Rangers album from 1973 was Fogerty?ÇÖs first solo album after he left Creedence, but he chose to release it under a band sounding name. ?Ç£I?ÇÖd long thought I?ÇÖd do another Blue Ridge Rangers album,?Ç¥ Fogerty commented in a statement, ?Ç£and not make the mistake of playing all the instruments. These are fantastic players who really understand what the Blue Ridge Rangers vibe is about.?Ç¥

The last album gave us the hit ?ÇÿJambalaya?ÇÖ

The new album features covers of Rick Nelson?ÇÖs ?ÇÿGarden Party?ÇÖ and Everly Brothers ?ÇÿWhen Will I Be Loved?ÇÖ. Springsteen, Henley and Schmit contribute to the covers.

Fogerty inducted Nelson into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. ?Ç£He helped shape who I am,?Ç¥ Fogerty says.

A release date is yet to be set for the album.

Paradise (John Prine)
Never Ending Song of Love (Delaney Bramlett)
