Remember when 5 years ago Undercover wrote that No Doubt had broken up? That led to an email from Adrian Young saying that the story was wrong and that they were only taking a break. Well, the break turned into a 5-year weekend.
Gwen Stefani produced a couple of solo albums as well as a couple of kids and her own signature perfume in that time, so it wasn?ÇÖt a total loss.
The tour will be more than a nostalgia trip. New music is in the planning stages. Singer Gwen Stefani said in a statement that ?Ç£The whole reason for going on this tour was to have fun, try on all our favorite songs again and to get inspired to make new music. It feels good to be all together again."
Paramore, The Sounds, Janelle Monae and Bedouin Soundclash are some of the already announced guest acts on the tour.
Dates will be announced soon.
The last No Doubt album was ?ÇÿRock Steady?ÇÖ in 2001.
Meanwhile, Undercover hears that Gwen's husband Gavin Rossdale is considering reforming his old band. It appears the name 'Bush' became available again last week.
