Mick Jagger and Keith Richard`s hometown of Dartford wants to honour the Stones with their own street names.

Dartford Council are currently deciding what song titles should be given to 13 streets on the new 1,500-home, ?ú400million Bridge estate.

Names being considered include Satisfaction Street, Stones Avenue, Angie Mews and Ruby Tuesday Drive.

The idea is due to be given approval after council cabinet meeting tomorrow.

Dartford council leader Jeremy Kite joked: "You can't always get what you want, but in this case I think we can get some satisfaction."

Local resident Julia Swan, 34, said: "I think it's a great idea. To live on Ruby Tuesday Drive would be fantastic, but God knows what the postman will think. He'll probably think it's a wind up."

Neighbour John Warner, 42, said: "It's a great idea. For once the council has come up with something which makes a bit of sense.
"I reckon Mick and the band would be dead chuffed to have their songs on road names."

But local police have already warned that die-hard fans could steal the signs after Beatles fans in Liverpool stole road signs for Abbey Road and Penny Lane.
