Phantom Planet Disband

It is all over for Phantom Planet.

Well in their words, they will "not be playing any more live shows or making any new records, indefinitely."

They say they've had an amazing time playing together for 15 years, and don't say why they're going on hiatus.

Their last show will be Dec. 12 in Los Angeles.

Phantom Planet is Sam Farrar`s band. Sam is the son of Australian songwriter John Farrar and singer Pat Carroll.

Pat used to be in a duo with Olivia Newton-John. John wrote many of Livvy's greatest hits including 'You're The One That I Want' and 'Physical'
