A joint statement released by Britney Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph and Jive Records has confirmed that she is back in the studio recording a new album.
Reports that the popstar was set to return to her musical roots have swirled around the net for the past few months, however, no official confirmation had been forthcoming until Wednesday (July 16).
The statement says, “She’s working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters and we’re very excited about what she’s accomplished so far. No album release date has been confirmed yet.”
