Blues Traveler will release their next album on the Verve label.
The band has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, had six gold and platinum albums, played more than 2000 shows to three million fans and has a Grammy to their name.
The new album is called `North Hollywood Shootout`.
"We`re still trying to cultivate what we`re individually good at into something that`s bigger than the sum of its parts. When we`re all playing and it`s working, it becomes this separate entity, and that`s still the thing that we`re chasing," says singer John Popper.
One of the tracks, `Forever Owed` was inspired by Popper`s recent trip to Afghanistan and Iraq.
`North Hollywood Shootout` will be released on August 26.
