The Whitlams Announce National Tour

The Whitlams are heading out on the road once again in support of their soon to be released best of package, which contains songs from their six studio albums.

The band will be performing at most of the usual cities around the country, and a few more out of the way ones, but it’s the Sydney show where audiences will be in for a real treat.

There the band will perform backed by the Symphonie des Femmes, a 35 piece all female orchestra at Sydney’s State Theatre.

In Melbourne the band will be backed by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and in Tasmania there will be the Tasmanian Symphony, while the rest of the country will have the usual four piece lineup.

Dates are:

AUGUST
15 – Wrest Point Casino, Hobart (w/ The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra)
22 – The Gov, Adelaide
23 – The Gov, Adelaide

SEPTEMBER
4 – The Zoo, Brisbane
5 – The Zoo, Brisbane
12 – State Theatre, Sydney (w/ Symphonie Des Femmes)
25 – Hamer Hall, Melbourne (w/ The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra)
26 - Hamer Hall, Melbourne (w/ The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra)

OCTOBER
4 – Belmont Sailing Club, Newcastle
11 – Tilley’s, Canberra
12 – Tilley’s, Canberra
17 – Caloundra Festival, Caloundra
24 – Tank Art Centre, Cairns

NOVEMBER
1 – Regal Theatre, Perth
