Sonic Youth is the latest act to do the Starbucks thing, but this release will have a different flavour. Sonic Youth's star fans have picked the songs for the album.
'Hits Are For Squares' will feature songs selected by Beck, Radiohead, Eddie Vedder, Flea and Flaming Lips, to name a few.
Even actresses Michelle Williams and Portia de Rossi have chosen their fav Sonic Youth songs for the album.
The band has added one new track, the previously unreleased 'Slow Revolution'.
'Hits Are For Squares' will be available from June 10.
