Velvet Revolver will look online for a new lead singer.
Guitarist Slash has told Billboard magazine that the band will build a website and do auditions for a new singer online.
Last month, singer Scott Weiland exited the band after an extremely nasty and public slanging match with the rest of the band. Velvet Revolver was faced with calling it a day or continuing on with a replacement.
In an announcement about the departure, the band made it obvious that they were not going to break-up over the loss of Weiland. "This band is all about its fans and its music and Scott Weiland isn't 100% committed to either", said Slash. "Among other things, his increasingly erratic on-stage behavior and personal problems have forced us to move on."
Auditions for a new singer may start as early as next month.
