Jury Deliberating In Spector Murder Trial

by Daniel Zugna - September 12 2007

A Los Angeles jury has begun deliberating on the fate of famed producer Phil Spector.

The key question they must answer is whether Spector fired the gun that killed 40-year-old actress Lana Clarkson as she apparently tried to leave his house, or whether she in fact committed suicide.

Associated Press reports that the jury asked to see the .38 calibre snub-nose revolver that fired the shot that killed Clarkson.

Spector is facing a second-degree murder charge, and if found guilty faces 15 years to life in jail.
