The B52's will soon follow-up their 1992 album 'Good Stuff' with their first album in 15 years.
Lead singer Fred Schneider has confirmed the activity in the band, stating that the album was recorded in their hometown of Athens, Georgia.
11 tracks have been finished for the release, which according to Schneider will be the "danceable, party vibe" sound we have known to love from B52's.
B52's have also been road-testing the new material on their current US tour.
A date and title for the album is still to be finalized.
