Toni Childs And More Added To Great Southern Bluesfest 2010

The third instalment of acts for Batemans Bay’s Great Southern Bluesfest has been announced.

Another eight local and international artists have been added to an already impressive line-up for the annual roots, blues and jazz festival.

The new acts are: Legendary Californian roots rock singer Toni Childs, Louisiana swamp pop supergroup Lil Band O’ Gold, Portland genre-hoppers Pink Martini, traditional NSW bluesman Matt Southon, sinister Sydney stompers The Snowdroppers, the legendary Oz singer/songwriter’s Mick Hart Experience, Boston trad blues outfit Whose Muddy Shoes, and American blues journeyman Watermelon Slim.

They join Todd Rundgren, Harry Manx, Wolf Mail, Blue Shaddy, Dallas Frasca, Jon Cleary, Cedric Burnside & Lightnin’ Malcolm, Lonnie Lee, Ben Kweller, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, The Pete Cornelius Band, Dave Hole, Kim Churchill and Ray Beadle Band.

The Great Southern Bluesfest takes place from October 1 to 3, at Mackay Park in Batemans Bay on the New South Wales South Coast.
